Corellian saucers are small-to-medium spaceships ranging from 40 to 100 feet long. They are well-known for their round hulls, gravity-control-based slower-than-light propulsion systems, Hyperdrive systems for interstellar travel, and being relatively expensive to purchase, build, or maintain. They are used by civilians, criminals, police, and military alike. They can land on planets.
They get their name from the fact that they were first conceived in the Pocket Universe on the planet Corellia around Year 1000 in the NewShi'ar Calendar.
