Lalandra II was the granddaughter of Torr IV, and elected Imperial Sovereign by the Imperial Council when she was only 25 years old in Year 1600 of the New Shi'ar Calendar. During the first 20 years of her rule, two individuals served as Imperial Regent, since it was assumed she was mentally incapacitated to assume full powers of Sovereign due to her age.
She was killed in Year 1799 when she personally led Imperial Guard forces and legions of Orks serving as mercenaries against a large force of interplanetary space pirates (the United Pirate Clans) plaguing a large portion of the Pocket Universe.
